The Escorta has all the features of the Sherpa, but with the added advantage of being capable of carrying a competent and trained person with the transported goods. This opens up many options to the user, and in certain cases removes the need for a goods/passenger lift.

The Escorta includes all the necessary safety features to carry people, whilst still conforming to The Machinery Directive. The Escorta's ability to carry a person with the goods, provides an economic and efficient means of utilising personnel, together with a safer mode of goods transportation.

Safety Features include

	Key switch control allowing only the authorised person access to the lift
	A light curtain is fitted at the entrances which stops the lift should the goods or person it is transporting be touching the lift shaft
	The lift is fitted with a safety grab and speed governor.
	The lift car control panel has a ‘dead-man’ control for maximum safety
	Windows are fitted in all the lift doors (100 x 300mm)
